Manage Company Information and Settings

The company information section allows an administrator to manage basic information about the client company in Risk Assess.  A short list of the client information that can be modified is below:

  • Name (client company name)
  • Legal Name (the name under which the client corporation conducts its operations)
  • Default Culture (primary language with which the client company communicates)
  • Customer ID (short code for client company)
  • D-U-Ns Number (the nine-digit Data Universal Numbering System number issued by Dun & Bradstreet that uniquely identifies the client company for the purpose to credit reporting)
  • # of Employees (the number of people (full time equivalent) who work for the client company)
  • Industry Classification (primary business activity of the supplier company (NAICS - North American Industry Classification System Code))
  • System Email: From Display Name (the sender name displayed in notification emails sent by the Risk Assess system.)
  • System Email: From Address (the sender email address displayed in notification emails sent by the Risk Assess system)
  • Default Site Administrator (name of the individual designated as the client administrator)
  • Client Support Email Address (the email address to which emails sent via the application’s “Support” link are sent)
  • Primary Billing Contact Email (email address of the individual responsible for processing Coupa invoices)
  • Primary Contact (contact information for primary responsible individual at the client company)
  • Supplier Request Life Cycle (indicates the stage of the sourcing process in which the supplier is categorized (e.g., Candidate, Registered, Approved, Preferred, Rejected) that is assigned to newly requested suppliers))
  • Relationship Request Life Cycle (indicates the stage of the process in which the relationship is categorized)
  • Engagement Request Life Cycle (indicates the stage of the process in which the engagement is categorized)
  • New Supplier Program From Internal Widget (the program in Risk Assess that will be used to “onboard” a new supplier.  The addition of a new supplier via the dashboard widget enrolls the new supplier in the program specified.)
  • New Supplier Program From External Site (the program in Risk Assess that will be used to “onboard” a new supplier.  The addition of a supplier from an external website enrolls the new supplier in the program specified.)
  • New Engagement Program From Internal Widget (the program in Risk Assess that will be used to start the sourcing process for a new engagement or sourcing project.  The addition of an engagement via the dashboard widget enrolls the new engagement in the program specified.)
  • New Supplier Management Group (the group in which any newly created supplier will be enrolled)
  • Info Profile Build Method (used only to set default build method for information profiles)
  • Tax ID Validation Method (logic for error handling when duplicate Tax IDs are entered into Risk Assess)
  • D-U-N-S Validation Method (logic for error handling when duplicate Duns numbers are entered into Risk Assess)
  • Supplier Name Validation Method (logic for error handling when duplicate Supplier Names are entered into Risk Assess – exact match on supplier name)
  • Engagement Name Validation Method  (logic for error handling when duplicate Engagements are entered into Risk Assess – fuzzy match on Engagement name, and exact match on contract number when populated)
  • Relationship Name Validation Method  (logic for error handling when duplicate Supplier Names are entered into Risk Assess – – fuzzy match on Relationship name, exact match on supplier name, and exact match on contract number when populated)
  • Disable Community Objects On Import (disables creation of library and forum objects)
  • Use Browser Culture (sets the client user’s profile culture in the application to use the browser language setting regardless of what the culture is set to in Risk Assess)
  • Skip Collapse Section (Number) (defines the maximum number of evaluation items for which the expand/collapse features are enabled in the evaluation form.   If the total number of items in a program is greater than or equal to this value then the user does not have the ability to collapse sections on the evaluation)
  • Award Prerequisite Programs – Available (list of all programs that may need to be completed before an engagement can be awarded to a candidate supplier)
  • Award Prerequisite Programs – Selected (the set of programs that must be completed before the engagement can be awarded to a candidate supplier)

 

The dropdown list designations are client customizable. Drop down lists need to be populated using Set-up Data Management in the Admin Tab.  

  • Industry Classification - Setup Data Type:  IndustryClassificationCode

Administrator privileges are required to create setup data. 

Managing Company Information and Settings

The process for managing company information and settings is:

  1. Navigate to the Admin tab.
  2. The Administration page will display.  Select the “Company Information and Settings” link under the Company Information and Settings grouping.
  3. The Company Information and Settings page will display.  Select Edit.
  4. Make the desired updates.
  5. Click Save to save the company settings.
