Punchout failed: Setup request failed: 4xx Login name is not available

Cause

The issue happens because of incorrect credentials. The status code is 4xx (where xx are digits), which means there was an authentication failure.

To reproduce, click on the punchout supplier link and receive the 4xx error in Coupa.

Solution

  • Review the punchout site setup information and make sure the following information was entered correctly:

    • cXML Domain: for the Supplier

    • cXML Identity: for the Supplier

    • cXML Secret

    • Sender Domain: for the Buyer

    • Sender Identity: for the Buyer

    Note

    The information is case sensitive.

  • If the punchout site information is correct, forward the Coupa punchout failed notification email to the supplier, and ask the supplier to look into it and let you know when you can retry sending the punchout.
