Punchout failed: No status element in setup response (incorrect URL)

Cause

The punchout URL is incorrect. The domain exists, but the full punchout URL cannot be found on the supplier’s server.

To reproduce, click on the punchout supplier link and receive the UnknownServiceException error in Coupa.

Solution

Before you reach out to the supplier, double check that the supplier’s punchout setting in Coupa is correct.
- Make sure the URL is what the supplier provided.
- Make sure the URL does not have spaces.
If the URL is correct, inform the supplier and ask for the correct full punchout URL.
